"During her college years, Karen refined and sharpened her native artistic abilities through education. Graduating in English Literature/Art, she went on to teach in public schools. While in college, and during her graduate work, Karen continued to explore and refine her artistic endeavors, delving into stained glass, jewelry making, ceramics, and design."
"In the intervening years, Karen has designed and built three houses, had a small jewelry making business, taught calligraphy, had two beautiful daughters, become a master quilter, and a registered nurse. Is it any wonder people say, "Is there anything she can't do?" With her stained glass, design, and jewelry background, Karen has explored hot glass lampworking for the last 10 years. Her passion for artistic expression has not dwindled, with her usual energy and focus (some may say "frenetic activity") she has produced beautiful works of art. I hope you enjoy them."
